Metagaon for Business
Sell into districtsno distributor will service.
The reason a rural household cannot buy your product is rarely that they do not want it. It is that no distributor will carry stock that deep, and no courier will promise a village address. Metagaon is a storefront on a network that already goes there.
Showrooms
A storefront you run, on a fleet you don't
A startup, MSME or manufacturer gets an account, a branded page, a catalogue and the tooling around it — enquiries, quotes, orders, settlement — reaching rural districts directly rather than through four layers of distribution that each need a margin.
Your own page, not a listing
Pick a layout, set the colours, logo, hero and the sections you want. It renders in the app without waiting for a release, because the app is a generic renderer for whatever the page says it is.
One catalogue, two faces
The same product carries a household price and trade terms — minimum order, volume slabs, credit days, lead time. Which one a visitor sees is decided by who they are signed in as, never by a parameter they can change.
Enquiries and quotes
A village buyer asks about a pump; you answer with a priced quote with lines and an expiry. It converts to an order without anybody re-typing it.
Fulfilled by the fleet
Freight priced on distance and weight, dispatched to a vehicle actually capable of carrying it — not a percentage of the bill that pays ₹4,000 to move one box.
Prepaid and settled
Payment verified server-side before an order moves, with the webhook authoritative so nobody is ever charged for an order that does not exist. Settlement runs on a double-entry ledger where a balance is the sum of its rows.
Demand intelligence
Anonymised, district-level demand built from what households actually ask for and what shops cannot source — aggregated with a floor that suppresses small cells, and scoped to the markets your plan covers.
The honest shape of the deal
Metagaon is the marketplace, not the seller. You are the seller of record and invoice the customer under your own GSTIN; we invoice you a commission and, where we collect on your behalf, handle the operator obligations that come with that. Reach is sold as a plan; the trade is charged as a commission. Either can be zero for a business we want on the network early.
Wholesale · Mandi
The shops have a supply problem too
A village shop runs out because its wholesaler is a phone call and a bus ride away, and it cannot afford to hold stock against uncertainty. Underneath the consumer marketplace there is a second one: village shop to block wholesaler to district bazaar.
Discovery sits on top of logistics rather than the other way round. A supplier a shop already phones can be registered and carried, and the directory grows out of who is actually shipping — rather than being filled in first and hoped over.
It is guarded for sellers and staff and never for consumers. A village family has no business seeing what their shopkeeper pays for a bag of cement, and the system enforces that rather than trusting each new screen to remember it.
Buyer tiers that mean one thing
A shop's tier is defined once and read everywhere — so a wholesaler's price for a regular buyer cannot quietly mean something different on another screen.
Trade credit, recorded
Between businesses, on terms the supplier sets, with the ledger behind it. The same principle as household udhaar: we keep the record, not the risk.
Procurement that becomes a delivery
An order placed up the chain is dispatched on the same fleet running consumer deliveries, because it is the same vehicles on the same roads.
A district bazaar above the block
Where the block wholesaler cannot supply, the district can — and the shop sees it as one continuous supply chain rather than three unconnected relationships.
Who this suits
Three kinds of business, one storefront
Manufacturers & MSMEs
Pumps, solar, tools, building material, agricultural inputs — products a district genuinely needs and cannot buy locally, sold direct with freight that is priced honestly by weight and distance.
Consumer brands
Rural distribution without appointing a distributor per district and funding their stock. Start in one block, see real demand by place, and expand into markets where households have actually asked for you.
Local makers scaling up
An artisan or kitchen that outgrows Shilp or Anna moves onto the same rails with a proper catalogue, trade terms and buyers outside the district — without changing app, account or ledger.
Getting on
Apply, and we will talk properly
Businesses are approved by hand and invisible to customers until they are. That is deliberate while the network is small — the first impression a village gets of buying something from outside the district matters more than our onboarding throughput.

Tell us what you want to sell, and where.
We are a small team in Nalanda and we answer these ourselves. Include what you make, the districts you are trying to reach, and roughly what a typical consignment weighs — that last one decides more than people expect.
